About The Mangrove Kingfisher
Length: 215-230 mm. Colour: Adult: head, breast, flanks and belly grey, blue grey on back, rump azure blue; wings azure blue with black coverts; tail azure blue above, black below. Bill red; feet black. Habitat: mangrove swamp and dense bush in lagoons, creeks and estuaries.
