Trips

Kenya Solar Eclipse

11/1/2013: After a long dusty ride from Lokichar, we finally arrived on the shores of Lake Turkana. After some negotiations with the owner of the boat, we secured camping and a ride across the lake to our preferred eclipse site. Kalokol itself was an interesting fishing village, and there were certainly plenty of flamingos to keep us company.
