Trips

Mexico to Panama

2/7/2009: We left Copan to Tela on the 1st Class bus with a connection in San Pedro Sula, and, of course, everything went wrong. The first problem is that the bus was rear-ended just minutes before we were to make our connection. We were held in the bus until the accident was cleared up, and we made a connection to a later bus. A bridge had been washed away, however, and we arrived five hours late to Tela.

Once we arrived in Tela, we had some difficulties in finding a hotel and food. When we finally found a room, there was only one restaurant open. Surprisingly, the food was awesome. The hotel was pretty nice as well.
